Dr. Anooj Shah is a PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Resident at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Visiting Instructor at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy. Dr. Shah is a graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin School of Pharmacy, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2018 and is completing his Master’s in Business Administration with focus in Healthcare Administration. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Dr. Shah’s primary interest areas include antimicrobial resistance, pharmacokinetics and drug dosing in critically ill patients, rapid diagnostics, and antimicrobial stewardship. His recent areas of research include assessing the impact of therapeutic drug monitoring of azole prophylaxis in lung transplant recipients on incidence of fungal events.
