Dr. Liang received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular and Structural Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She then pursued and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and completed a post-graduate pharmacy practice residency with Cardinal Health at Vista health System and Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital. Dr. Liang serves in various roles of pharmacy practice including as a clinical pharmacist, antimicrobial stewardship pharmacist, clinical operational manager, and as a preceptor for pharmacy students. Her interest in antimicrobial stewardship has led to the development and implementation of the program at three institutions including Marianjoy where she serves as the co-chair of the program. She continues to pursue advancement in her career as a pharmacist, most recently she has attained BCPS certification in 2020.
